Respectfully, that's been my focus 90% of the time

If it effects Manual window/locks... there's substantially bigger problems
haven't started on that swap yet, wanted truck running reliably down the road first

Ah, forgot... was going to say it likely would be the BCM related.

Supposedly there's two main grounds under the dash, G200/G201, I haven't been able to find directions to where they are actually located under the dash..

Also might make some big body to frame cable grounds as mine didn't have any

Both should be on each A piller right below the top cover

Under the dash cover, Near the pillar. There is a stud on each side that the grounds attach too and a nut holds them down.

Well in this excitement, trans seams to shift fine though dash doesn't work, and after 2 hrs of running the cab inside smells like burnt wires

Do you think it might be a module like the BCM that's shorting out?

I pulled it out and pulled the case apart Saturday, I didn't see anything that would look like burnt stuff

Yes, the seats and carpet/vinyl stuff got pulled to get to the middle Cab bolts, I didn't touch the dash.

Probably be Friday before I have decent amount of time to dig into the dash

I can't imagine it being some where that was not disturbed. But stranger things have happened....
