Girlfriends granny cleaned out her wetbar, I inherited a bunch of un-opened "old - talking 20 year plus old" bottles of Crown, Wild Turkey, Johnny Walkers red & black, Etc.........

Life is good :D

Discovered Balvenie "Doublewood" a couple months ago.
Good Scotch.
Like it way better than my usual JD single barrel.

Mostly lots of Crown, with some Canadian Club when I'm being cheap.

and for curing colds and putting hair on your chest, there's always.

Wild Turkey Rare Breed. God smiled when this stuff was created.

For a change of pace: "Kentucky Nail"

2 parts Wild Turkey 101
1 part Wild Turkey American Honey

A little sweet, but a good after dinner cocktail.

Wild turkey rare breed is good. Russel's reserve is good if you can find it. Bullit burbon is OK, maybe a step down from Rare breed.

Someone mentioned JD green label...maybe I'm missing something but I didn't enjoy that stuff.

My current weakness is Knob Creek small batch aged 9 years. Pricey but worth it. :thumb:

For some reason I was on a JD kick this past weekend but by Sunday it was starting to make me nauseous. Too sweet maybe??? Any suggestions for a good Whiskey/Whisky/Blend/Bourbon that isnt very sweet?

I found a stash of Woodford Reserve that I didn't realize I had, and I know I didn't buy it.:whisle:

Anyways, Got a new favorite until the stash runs out.

Jim Beam is my daily driver, Crown for the weekends and for special occasions I'll go with a small batch bourbon...there's one that's 1742 or something like that...4 numbers starting with 1-7 that is phenominal.....extremely smooth!
