Kentucky Deluxe. Ah who am I kidding that crap is for broke college kids. A buddy turned us on to Pendletons about a month ago. It is by far the smoothest whiskey I have ever had. But you can never go wrong with Jack.

Pendletons=worst hangover i have ever f##kin had!Yes smooth but im good.Woke up at 11am drunk as sh%t and felt like death.

always love the Jack D but will drink crown on occation. Favorite by far is makers mark mint julep. only produced once a year before the kentucky derby but man, super smooth but still has the whiskey flavor. You taste the mint but it just seems to blend very well. speakin of, i need to order some more :D

:spit:Jack Daniel Green Label, Not as sweet as the Black label. Not sure if they are still making it ??. Was only able to get in Texas and Kentucky, and overseas. But it is good

Ill have to stock u up next visit......

People that enjoy crown royal has also been known to enjoy a vintage toilet water also........Just sayin:D

There is a reason we export it;)

X2! And it's your turn to buy Simon-I got Larry on the last trip!

Danfields Private Reserve or any flavour of Gibson's Finest are my two choces of rye whiskeys.
The rest you can all clean your paint brushes with as far as I am concerned-especially Jack Daniels!!:poop:

Simon really likes to get after a bottle of Royal Rumble from time to time as well-warm, with no mix is his favorite.

Just little sips.......

Wild Turkey also makes a rye whiskey. It is pretty decent. Rare Breed is good. Jack has too much charcoal for me. We have Sun Drop in NC and it is the #1 chaser/mixer for bourbon. Hard to find it outside of NC.

Been a blended scotch drinker most of my life but have gotten into Black Velvet Reserve as of late. Good stuff. Really not much more expensive than the regular Black Velvet, (was only a dollar more for the big bottle here in Oregon) but much smoother. Aged 8 years or so they say on the bottle. Always thought Candian whiskey was Rye but just reading up on it, it only has to be a small percentage Rye. Really never been a fan of sour mash or any Bourbon for that matter. But...if that's all here is...:thumb:

Anyone ever try Bulleit Bourbon? Saw it the other day and was tempted but didn't pull the trigger. Says it has a 30% rye content.

I'm from KY and love the smell of em making the bourbon but not a big fan of the taste. If I do have some, I prefer Crown Royal over anything I've had from here. Then again, I haven't had the high end local concoctions so who knows.
