If I have to stay stock appearing what is better Fleece 63mm billet cheetah, or Danville stage 2? If I don't need to stay stock appearing what's my other options?

Thanks Dylan

I've had a Danville charger for over two years. It just rips. The customer service is top notch. And he's only made them better since I put mine on

There is about a 150-200hp difference between 2.5 stock appearing and ITPA/bob 2.5 class so you need to be more specific with what you are looking for. I have stock appearing guys in the 750hp range, best 2.5 vgt power was 720hp, my custom billet S463 in the 850+hp range.:thumb:

Hell yes you could Ben! You could also use the big 2.5 turbo since you are still rocking the true 2.5 S4! would be 100hp increase for you!:thumb:

Chase Fleece sure is looking forward to getting to those rule meetings this winter and getting the "big 2.5" stuff out of it, and getting the clarification established so that it remains a True 2.5" class and as an intermediate class between Work Stock (Stock Appearing) and 2.6". With the way its headed now, we are only a water to air and weight box shy of 2.6".

The lack of rule enforcement, and teching each pull has allowed the class to get out of hand in both Indiana and Kentucky, which is a shame.

Indiana Truck Pullers Association 2.5" Diesel Turbo Rule:

26. S-4 Turbo is the largest turbo allowed. Turbo must be a true 2.5 charger. No clipped wheels or step
down covers. ¼ inch MWE groove maximum. Inducer bore must be non- removable. All air must go
through 2.5 inducer bore or MWE groove. The wheel must protrude into the 2.5 bore 1/8”. Turbo will be
checked with a 2.550” plug. The driver will be responsible for making compressor wheel and bore
accessible for tech officials to measure bore and inspect compressor wheel.

Battle of the Blugrass 2.5" Work Stock Turbo Rules:

Turbocharger:
S-4, GT 42, HX 50, LLY, and turbo of this type is the largest turbo allowed. T-4
mounting flange is the largest allowed. Turbos must be a true 2.5 charger. No clipped
wheels or step down covers. Billet compressor wheels are allowed. A single .200 inch
MWE groove maximum allowed. Inducer bore must be non-removable. All air must go
through the 2.5 inducer bore and the MWE groove. The wheel must protrude into the 2.5
bore 1/8 inch. Turbo will be checked with a 2.550 plug or internal calipers.
The 6.4 Power Stroke engine may utilize the factory twin turbo configuration. The driver
will be responsible for making turbo accessible for tech personnel to measure and inspect.
If you have any questions regarding turbo rule contact Battle of the Bluegrass Technical
Department.
