Well that is 500 Cheaper!! He said the MSRP was 1945.oo that's pretty good. Has anyone called to verify that that is correct?
when i started this thread a while back, a company on E bay had them for this price too.. i called BC and they said they were just finishing up the production tooling and had not made any besides proto types. BC told me that they would not be selling that cheap.
So just wondering if someone would verify it for the guys here??

The link on the first page to the ebay for sale ad is still valid but shows them on back order

Not sure if these are what you were talking about, but these are what I found with a quick Google search..

That's only because I know someone that knows someone

I like the carillos because they are the lightest and strongest

Hey, he didn't say he'd trust his either
Good point.
I think I'm the only one out there that's going to be running Cunningham rods so I guess I'm kind of a guinea pig.
Simon ran a set and bent them at 1200hp and Cunningham replaced them under warranty as Cunningham admitted their was a material flaw in their first builds which is why I got them so cheap.
So I guess what I am trying to say is I wouldn't be afraid to try new things from a reputable supplier so long as the price reflects their new introduction to the market.

Carillo is lightest but not the strongest. About the same as the others, which is plenty enough to not worry about them. The Howards is light and stronger by a good amount. The Oliver looks like a modified version of the Howard.

How do you know which rod is the strongest?

Unless you have personally seen how every brand of rod was made how can you make a claim like that...

I know the results when they put Carillo and a couple others through the same tests they did with Howards. But I'm not gonna argue this. Think whatever you want.
*** The build I'm about to do will probably have Carillos.

Good info...any idea what type of testing was done ? Compression tests ?
