No, i purchased a set of Manleys for my build for the same exact price...

i dont ever plan on going over the 1000K HP or even the 900 Mark is shpold be fine... Just putting this out there for people to see and maybe someone will try them . who knows. the best i saw on Carrillos was 2400 shipped. im sure some guys can do better that have connections., but that not me..

Appreciate it none the less sir it still is solid information. More people would "Try" new products if the price reflected accordingly. Henrys engine performance bundle sure seems like a great deal. Also the more you spend with a vendor the better the deals normally are.

There are other areas of a performance build to save money rods aren't one I would skimp on seeing as how that's the weak link.

I would completely agree with you, except we have no idea if these rods are good or not. Let's say they turn out to be just as good as Carillo's, are you still going to consider it skimping?

Until they prove to hold up better then a Carrillo is the problem. Carrillo has been around for years. How about Finger's pistons' ? He himself said he had to nearly give them away for people to try them. Since he did that multiple people with builds of all different variations in horse power purchased a set. All those truck range anywhere from dedicated pullers and drag racers, to daily driven trucks. So until they prove themselves I will stick with what a vast majority of the Duramax scene has in their motors.

I agree with that, but fingers pistons really proves that things can be improved upon. Hopefully these work out! I still want to know who sells Carrillo's for 2250.

x2 on Fingers the mark up on the rods is insane though after they write the program its push a button. Would be really neat to see the number of overall Duramax rods sold from each company. The rod price is all about who you know to be 100% honest with you.

Spend 15-20k with a company and they help you out. They sell them for $ 2300.00 to be exact. Not sure who got 2250?

1945+300,I rounded up. More importantly, if you have to spend 15k-20k I wouldn't exactly say you can get Carrillo's for 2300. Hell I've spent at least that much with Guy, I'll have to ask him about my next rods discount. :roflmao:

not far off of crowers

Yea. They just tweaked dads program a little here and there and added about 50 grams to the rod. These are the heaviest so far. I am not sure of the weight on the Howard's rods.

From my research during this build I have come up with some rods weights
Stock LBZ T 1165
Crower be769 se377. T 1146
R R Be769 se387. T1146
Manley. Be728 se411. T1139
Carrillo. Be672. Se416. T1088
Oliver. T 1098
Brian Crower T 1194.

I don't call and open up my pocket book when I order parts either. Don't be a jealous hater that you paid more for a set of rod then I did :baby: . Not trying to clutter up a thread either. No over the course of the years' and multiple truck's he doesn't mind helping me out.

Not sure if these are what you were talking about, but these are what I found with a quick Google search..

http://www.briancrowersuperstore.co...-arp2000-7-16-fasteners-chevy-duramax-diesel/

http://www.ultrarevparts.com/Brian-Crower-BC6470-Performance-Connecting/dp/B00MGY1F52

Looks like $1000 cheaper?

Well that is 500 Cheaper!! He said the MSRP was 1945.oo that's pretty good. Has anyone called to verify that that is correct?
when i started this thread a while back, a company on E bay had them for this price too.. i called BC and they said they were just finishing up the production tooling and had not made any besides proto types. BC told me that they would not be selling that cheap.
So just wondering if someone would verify it for the guys here??
