OK...you'r removal from CompD was by my hand as you well know....and since you want to get into it ....again....I went and found the post you made that brought it on and my response.
ANYONE that posted something like this would be shown the door.
And my response to you:
Pat you are a much better man than I, as you said in another thread you must be bomb proof to be a mod., I guess that you are.
I still don't get it, people are going to have disagreements and arguments but why kick off your best tech people.
I don't blame you a bit for being pissed. Yeah that whole cage thing is kind of crazy.
I went and looked...that is in fact NOT the message you got when you were banned.:hello:
If "double standards" means banning someone who repeatedly attacks a Moderator untill said Mod gets fed up and hits the button....then so be it.
I would have done the same thing. I have better things to do than fight with a member who doesn't wat to be there anyway.
This board is the same age as CompD. No moderator here has ever had to use banning as a form of moderation. There are boards with over 30k members who don't ban members either.
Just a different mindset. A website is it's content and members. Content is derived from the members. So banning members is like shooting one of your cows when it kicks you while you're milking.
You folk just need to milk it better.
But what started the whole thing is the staff bagged on a 13 year old enthusiast who is part of my pit crew at the races. That I stood up for my friends is pretty much an alien concept there.
:laughing4:I've warned you folk many times:
Wearing a McRat logo is like having a Family First sticker on your truck driving through San Francisco.
I was enjoying my afternoon jabbing back and forth with Pat....but this is my last post in this thread because I just don't have the energy to rehash this same old crap once again.
Y'all have a good day......
I was told that you have a thread there that says 10lb/min from a turbo is good for 10HP.
Could you step in there and post that it's about 1lb/minute for 8 HP?

the old rule of thumb from the gasser world is 10lbs/min = 10hp
gas vehicles have pretty tight air:fuel ratios, so it's a good rule of thumb. that kinda flies out the window with a diesel, but might give some guys some sort of a ballpark guideline to get more familiar with reading maps

I just got a McRat Racing shirt the other day. So, If I'm walking through wal-mart here in TN, should I worry about getting jumped?

then i said the dmax can do ~500-570 on 40-45lb of air

I dunno if a ROT is good enough to debate over.....i mean, there have been S366's and S465's make around 650 and that's at 40-45PSI manifold PSI with approx. 60-65 lbs/min of flow pre-charger (only a guess since i don't know if my gauge is pegging at 62lbs/min?? and i have a S64x)
I'm thinking 60lb of air to get 500rwhp, or 100lb to get 750hp, but yeah, 10lb per 10hp would take 1000lb of air to get 1000hp. I think the turbo would block your ability to see out of the windshield.
