Competition keeps people honest.

I can't default Killer Bee. I am not some bueracrat in congress telling people what they can and can't make. If Banks was so clever they would have been offering them instead of selling you a $1200 dollar intercooler that can't hold high boost.

His profits might seem excessive but when you are the only one offering something you can charge what you want for it

Do you have one that has blown? I must be lucky with mine way over 60psi time and time again and no problems..

Just wondering how long you have followed KB's propaganda?

Do I need one that has blown? If you hear about problems with something you are not going to buy it. The Stock Intercooler has held over 60 Psi.

I am glad the Banks Intercooler is working for you but I still wouldn't buy one

There have been a few failures with the Banks Intercooler and they have stated that it is not meant to hold high boost pressures. The Spearco/PPE Intercoolers are a better product that are designed for high boost.

I do not have any killer bee's products. The only one I would consider is his engine oil cooler.

I also do not have any of Banks Products so I do not have an agenda

Remember all the outcry when Industrial Injection came out with there twin kit.

Competition gives us better products at better prices.

IMO charging 3 times what something costs is something I couldn't do morally but it is not illegal. And is not all that uncommon. Like the $6,000 dollar injectors jobs on the LB7.

KB has been selling these tubes for quite a while I am not sure why it took Banks so long to realize it.

I really don't think it's a realize it, come on, placed an order for 10 or more at once? How many trucks can he own? I think the point is his misrepresentation. Period

As far as the inter-cooler, It's like the timing thing, if we had pictures and pure data at the exact moment of destruction we'd know for sure. I guess I got one of the best banks built inter-coolers, it's held up fine for me. Then again, I bots it to lower IAT, when it blows it's time for something designed to hold more boost. At least Banks says they would not recommend xx amount of boost.

Ok, back on topic.

Banks has been selling the tube separately for quite a while, you can take off your blinders now. KB is not the only person offering this.

I love it!!!!

I figured that KB was using Banks tubes when I say them in his "catalog". IMO he's a joke - we were discussing here how restrictive the LLY turbo inlet was, he was trying to dremel the inside of a stock one, then epoxy the outside, then dremel more, ect. Then he was trying to make a completely new one. Someone (I forget who) said "I just put one from and LBZ on my truck, it's much bigger". People started to do that until KB went and tried to buy up all the supply of them from GM and then added a boot and marked it up a couple hundred dollars. My oil cooler setup is getting the same results as what I've seen others say his system does, and with the electric fan I don't have to be moving to cool the oil. I'm sure he has a spreadsheet or 2 that will completely prove his innocense though:spit:.

But if it isn't listed and people don't know about it What good does it do for the average guy who isn't privvy to the information

the search button and a little research or question asking goes a long way. i've seen people talking about using the LB7 or banks pipes on the LLYs for a few years now.

anyone that is buying or has bought the kit from KB has learned about it from the forums not through print advertising.
