I have word that my machinist will have them cut this weekend. Ive got a whole list of new features- should make them great for Duramaxes.

Things have been a little crazy with my machinist moving shops closer to my place and him also expanding with a couple employees doing more types of metal fab.

Thanks for your patience! These will be a real nice piece.

More than likely it is going to be at my "Introductory Price" I offered on the Hellmans, at $149. These however have several improvements that make them both better for the Duramax, as well as easier to install.

I just got back into town from being at an event for my other business since Monday night. My machinist was also with me at the event. I am going to be heading over there this afternoon to get a status update. I would say by the end of this week I will have units ready to ship.

Ill try to sneak that spy shot out :)

TX of course
Any chance you would make a kit with fittings and hose for us too? I like 1 stop shopping, and what is everyone doing to cap off the old pickup?

Would this work with a metal tank as well? I am in the process of setting a Duramax in an El Camino and this would safe me from welding in a sump . The factory tank is wide and shallow and I fear a pick straw would be a head achne at best.

Yup, sure would! I was just down the row at the machinists shop and these things are about ready to rock!

I gave him the 1/2" NPT to push on barbed fittings, he is tapping tonight and I should have a finished product to show off tomorrow!

LOL you guys make it tough! No more parts deadlines!

My machinist just wheeled this over. Not completed yet, but you see they are happening :D

Sumps will be tapped 1/2" NPT and come with a 1/2" NPT to 1/2" ID Hose barbed push on fitting. Will interface right to your FASS/Airdog setups that come with new 1/2" line, or easy to retrofit into your existing system.

Sump will also have a drain screw on the bottom of the unit - good for fuel samples, draining gasoline if the wife fills up :spit: or what have you.

The attachment system has also been altered. The inside "ring" that attaches to the sump has been split into 2 "C"s that are tapped. This means installation from the underside of the tank is an option. Cut your hole, insert the 2 Cs through the hole, and then place the sump to the bottom and thread you screws in. Some edges were radiused and the height sucked up a bit to the tank.

Should be a great piece that will work flawlessly on our Duramaxes (as well as other vehicles if you choose), install easily and quickly, and improve fuel supply to your motor.
