Does anyone else think these idiots are worse than used car salesmen or telemarketers? I am so sick of them and their answers. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. I would not use amsoil in anything because of this.

Agreed.... Synthetic oil doesn't provide "better" wear protection, just longer & most truck owners can't or won't leave oil in for 25k using UOAs to determine the state of their oil.

It's a waste of hard-earned money...

Now you got ME started Mike...

LOL i'm a Amsoil dealer but I dont push it. I only use some of the items many on the 4 wheelers and front and rear diff's.Not really any money it selling it anyone can be a dealer or pref customer. So to make any money they have to market it to were they get others to buy under you then you get a kick back to much to it for me to play with.

True, I stopped using it in my motor ever since I've been trying to decipher a bad oil analysis. I use syn everywhere else though. But it's there for quite a few miles at a time. You can definitely have too many vendors for the same product seems like.

I 100% agree mike. I have gotten into so many arguments, most on Duramax Forum because I called out the amsoil dealers for being idiots. Seriously, they are, for the most part, all the same way.

They cant make ONE SINGLE POST that doesnt have a hint of infomercial in it.

The last time I really got into it with them, I called him out for being a used car salesman and not adding ANYTHING with any technical merit to the thread.... I guess one of them is a veteran, and he pulled the "thats no way to talk to someone who has fought for your freedom!" card. I absolutely hate that. I obviously 100% support people in the armed forces, many of my good friends are in the military, but when people pull that card to try to make you feel guilty for calling them out, I cant stand it.

As with any pyramid scheme the motto is "Push, Push, Push" although I used to run Amsoil I see no real benefits to it. I am not comfortable running my oil for 10k+ between changes and therefore I don't see the benefit. I run Mobil 1 Synthetic because it's reasonably priced and my motor runs just fine with it. I think as with a lot of things in the diesel community people overanalyze everything and are so GD paranoid about a friend of a friend whose cousins brothers kids nephew had a truck that they didn't run Amsoil (or other said overrated product) in and it had a catastrophic failure. Guess what...there are plenty of diesels out there that have run for 100's of thousands of miles without synthetic this or Amsoil that without any premature failure. Although I'm no engineer like our friend KB if regular off the shelf oil is good enough for every other diesel motor it's good enough for mine.

Rant over

I, as a veteran, have a view on that. If you are legitimately being disrespected and belittled due to your service in the military or any related endeavor then absolutely the veteran card is justified. If you are being shown for your true incompetencies there is no excuse or "card" to hide behind IMHO.

I get a kick out of threads like this. Everybody jumps on the band wagon bashing people and products with little to no knoledge of them or the product. I am an amsoil dealer. Am I an idiot? I don't really think so. I never push anything on anybody and don't paln on it. So you have an issue with somebody, good get over it. No need to bash all amsoil dealers.

Anyone can become an amsoil dealer, ANYONE! Most people sign up to get the product cheaper, then turn into "Im a business man".

Its a joke, 99% of amsoil dealers couldnt tell you shit about oil you dont already know, and if they say something that you dont agree with, they show you the 9832748268912912 documents amsoil has put together just to drive it in their head they are correct.

The best is the argument I had about trans fluid being 295. They said its been tested and out performs and amsoil wont pay to be rated that, they just say its better :D.

My neighbors dog can be a amsoil dealer, if someone would just setup the website, which amsoil pretty much does for you anyway. Seems totally like a pyramid scheme, which it blindly is.

I like how most of the guys say they have been doing it for so many years, but what they really are saying is they changed their oil when they were 15 years old, and decided that was their beginning of experience in oils.
