pinched wire finally wore thru from a factory screw up in putting in the dash
See what happens when we hire out a sophisticated piece of machinery to the lowest bidder??? :hehe::hehe::hehe:

Dont forget zip ties, they are very important too
If anyone is near San Angelo, you've got to go by Larry R's shop. This guy is top notch, and the beast he's building is amazing. He fixed my fuse problem and is just a great guy to sit around and shoot the bull with. I guess I should have started a new thread, but I figured it was easier to hi-jack one...:hijacked:
Thanks for the good word. I guess this means the fuse hasen't blown yet
If not the next thing is to remove the top of the dash:scare:
I can video ityou need to make sure you can a video when you find the open road. i wanna see it
always ready to take one for the team huh Larry
Well, I took him out for a test drive before I let the owner have it for a week or two to find the bugs and I don't think Mr. Jewell would have been able to hold a camera because of the death grip he had on the bar on the dash:rofl:
This thing is wicked. I let him have it while I fix his escalade and wait for PPE to send me a few more parts. He called me yesterday and I could see his smile through the phone. The tracks open up here in Feb so maybe then we can get some times-in the mean time I am trying to find a superflo dyno close for some "special" tuning by a qualified individual
As always, lots and lots of special thanks to Kat, Pat, Guy, Rick, and Larry J. You guys and girl have helped me out so much I can never thank you enough.
Larry.
I gotta say you did one hell of a job on the truck, and Pat did one hell of a job on the tuning. I bet my fingerprints were left on the ohshit!!! handle I can also honestly say that I have not ever rode in anything that quick (never ever) and I honestly cant figure out how come that turbo lites up as fast as it did.
I cant let go of mine for an extended time.........but when you finally do get hold of it, Rods, pistons and injectors is as far as i'm going, and I hope to have duel cp3's before you get it (next month or 2), and probably mpi twins, keeping the cheetah in the stock locationWell, I took him for a test drive before I turned it over to him and I scared the _ _ _ t out of him too Yours and his prints are probably combined now.
I was playing with it when I left you and when you nail it at sixty you can count 1, 2, 110mph Its a monster alright, especially for his daily driver. Now, when do we build you one?
Let me know when you find a dyno and get it to the track. I'd drive over to check it out. I'm quessing the dyno and track both will be over towards the metroplex? If not, I may still drive out that way. I need to get my truck on a dyno to do some tuning too, and I'm always up to running down the track.
But you love driving the Slowbalt rent car:rofl:I cant let go of mine for an extended time.........but when you finally do get hold of it, Rods, pistons and injectors is as far as i'm going, and I hope to have duel cp3's before you get it (next month or 2), and probably mpi twins, keeping the cheetah in the stock location
actually Cody (05supersmoker on SARacing) is trying to put together a dyno event in Lubbock in the next month or so, can rent the dyno for $800 for the day I think is what he said..............I'd rather drive to Buda than Lubbock though........The dyno I found is in Buda over by Austin. They do the diesel shootout every year for dieselmag. All the other ones are either too far away or can't do a big diesel truck. The track(s) are in Midland and here in San Angelo.
