I'm about ready to buy my tranny kit and I have been looking at the dmax store stage v and the alligator performance stage 5. What is the difference ? Has anyone run theese kits? What are your guys thoughts thanks.
Maybe call Mike L. As he is a vendor here and his tech support is priceless?
That's what I was about to say. If you're building it yourself, you will almost certainly run into problems and have a question. That is where you will really need the support of someone who knows what is going on inside these things.I don't know about those kits but, I would recomend buying the kit from a reputable builder who can help you if you have any problems.

x3, No one else does the tech support.
That is not true. Big Dipper may sell you a kit, and if he does, great customer service is sold with it. Mike does the same thing.
You will probably have to call them. I'm sure you'll find both phone numbers without much trouble. A quick search should turn them up.ok well how do i get a price on theese two trans kits big dipper and mike l?
We usually try and support Supporting Vendors here and last I checked the builder you mentioned does not support this forum anymore
see, the problem i have with this mentality is that Mike is now the ONLY trans-specific supporting vender here. I like Mike, a lot, but when there are other options out there who have also helped me ( and lots of other members here) it is not unfair to Mike or unjust to the forum to remind people of them.
Yep, George is great!George (BigDipper) has helped me tremendously. :thumb:
does anyone have any information on my original question?
I don't mean to sound like an A-hole, but if you are dead set on getting a kit from one of those two places, just get the one that you can get the best deal on. I can't see either one being much stronger than the other, and service after the sale will probably be the same as well (not bad, jut not that real technical in nature). If you're looking for a very well put together kit that will get you some excellent help when it comes time to install, you have been give some very good options.does anyone have any information on my original question?
