Since they ditched the 1/2 ton plans a few years ago its about time they do something...realizing that the cruze was the ultimate VW kryptonite probably gave them confidence to put out more diesel stuff.. Good job GM :woott:

X2 for the 4.5. Hopefully with these 2.5 or 2.8 engines we will not have to add cat piss (urea) or diesel exhaust fluid... If not, I'd be interested in one.

I'm glad GM is gaining some confidence in the diesel market. If these do well, I can only hope they bring back the 4.5L mini-max and stuff it in the Tahoe / Suburban. My parents would buy one of those on a heartbeat. Heck, I might too.
