i havent cut/drilled the hole for it yet.. the intake lays on the bat post of the alt.. no good got plenty of room to make couple brakets.... when i found out the rad tranny cooler fitting are steel.. i found some steel weld on -6 ends and a buddy tig them together.. the air to oil tranny cooler is rated for 30k with on/off 180* temp switch at the inlet of the air to oil cooler..... hopefully the fan will never need to come on..

rob ole girl is will be scraped here shortly...

knocking off the efi live dust.. last time i was really messing with it was 07-08.. getting tables setup in a linear and predictable pattern...

Make sure you use the van tune as a truck tune will cause some serious problems if you kept the vans wiring. There are 4 versions of each operating system for an LBZ, the early LLY derated ALLISON one, the ZF6 manual one, the LBZ allison, and then the 4L80E van tune. The van tune swaps some of the outputs out of the ECM so that a van owner couldn't just plug a truck ECM in and go.

I got a copy of josh 06 stock tune for ecm and tcm
stock van is 1000us at 180mpa vs 1300us at 180mpa which is lbz/alli truck

It's easy enough to take a van tune, and up it to a truck tune as far as output goes, but unlike the trucks you can't just swap in any tune file. Just m,ake sure your base file is from what your harness is set-up for.

list of things to do is getting shorter..
most have to wait for the harness to get here form oregon.. should be tuesday.
fuel filter/pump for now grafting the 06 1/2 3/8 line to the 99 3/8 5/16 i dont see why 3/8 cant supply enough fuel for less than 300hp..
coolant expantion tank
ecm/tcm mounting
waiting on truck dipstick and oil fill tube
oil and coolant
finish up upper fan shroud and rad bracket
mount 06 APP and pull the 99 out
tune it.

got the intake mounted paints MAF attatched and brakett made

Keep in mind that the common rail engine also uses fuel to cool and lubricate teh injectors, so it's not just how much fuel the engine needs to run, but you have to include the fuel being bypassed for cooling. Modifying teh fuel pick-up was not hard at all to do. Then again I know that Gordon's 99 BURB with a LB7 is still using teh stock 6.5 lift pump and stock pick-up arrangement. He says it seems to run alright, but I've never ridden in it. He did say his didn't seem to run like mine as he can't roast his tires like I can.
