Turn the baby sitter off and get someone who can drive in the seat and I bet it would do better.
I wouldnt be so sure about that.......
Car electronics arent "dumb" anymore. When are people going to realize that???
Modern electronics and traction/stability control systems have incredible capabilities, many times exceeding what a human driver is physically capable of. Show me a human driver who can make fractional-percentage adjustments to the throttle, and regulate braking pressure to each drive wheel individually/separately,
hundreds of times a second, and Ill show you a powerstroke that can fly to the moon.
Believe what you want, but if anyone really thinks the latest ESC/TCS technology is a "joke" and a "really good driver" is way better, then they're just plain ignorant.
Inherently-aerodynamically-unstable aircraft (B2, F117, and the latest business jet that Gulfstream is working on) literally wouldnt even be able fly without electronics. Meaning, even the best pilot wouldnt even be able to manually keep the aircraft from upsetting and spiraling out of control without computers assisting control inputs/making minute control surface adjustments hundreds of times a second.
