That's what NADM uses and what most guys back there are use to I think. Note the two guys who race NHRDA the most Jeff and Matt both had issues with the light.

I am pretty certain it wasn't just the different tree Ken, Jeff was cutting awesome lights at times, and the inconsistency wasn't his fault.....

Ben, Ferman, Todd, Hosedragger and crew, good to see you guys and meet some new faces. It's been a few years. Welcome to my town and hope you guys are enjoying this 80 degree winter weather like I'am. I thought about running the Crown Vic but I didnt want to embarass anyone with my blistering 16 second quarter mile times, not to mention, most people who saw me put their beers down and walked the opposite direction...:D

If you guys are gonna be back there tomorrow, I can try and swing back by early again at around ~2-ish.

Nice to meet you Nick, thanks for stopping by and, well, you'll know where to find us:woott::hug:

eh..no matter trees or redlights or whatever......Matt and Jeff did great! Let's just concentrate on the fact that two guys that we all know were in the Elite 8!!!!
They did far, far better than 98% of us would have.

Congrats Jeff and Matt for representing the Duramax like you did!!!!!

Nick, were you "working" the event as security?

It wasnt the brakes I dont think. although, about half the trucks there were skidding through the beams during staging yesterday. today i was at the end of the track so i didnt see all the launches. I'll let Matt and Jeff get on here when they can and tell their stories, but I would guess it wont be for a couple days. Jeff was going to leave today and drive as far as he could tonight, not sure about Matt. All I know is both those trucks are making some serious power, it just wasn't easy to control.

Congrats to Matt and Jeff, them trucks are moving. Only bad thing was trying to read the left side time clock, I wonder if anyone else had that problem? Jeff ran one time on that side and I couldn't make the time out to good. Looked like 11.1xx?

I was getting updates from ecc33. He went as part of Matt's pit crew. He was texting me updates all week (when sober enough). :D

It was an awesomwe weekend. Congrats to Matt & Jeff for representing very well :D It was pretty cool seeng all the people helping each other. Still trying to digest it all.
I have to thank all the guys that helped us get our puller ready for the grudge race, what a nightmare. Thanks Jeff for getting in and getting us to the third round :thumb: I found out Steve wasn't gonna make it while they were calling us to staging. Jeff hopped in right away. Then we had to come up with a dial in(Thanks Brayden, Jeff, Glen) Great to see everyone again. Gotta give huge props to my engine builder @ GM, whomever you were.
Jeff got a 12.22 out of our truck even after climbing on the brakes about the 1200' mark. We didn't have time to strip it from pulling trim. I'm betting it weighed 7100 lbs yesterday.
Thanks again to everybody that out the show on & to all that participated.

Talk at the track sat. Trent was that they were gonna def. gonna make it an annual thing and was good talk of the same kinda race being at gainsville next month:happy2: Maybe you can make that one, although thats one hell of a ride

As for Matt's truck, the reason he pushed through the lights was the converter was a tad on the tight side, hung out with him nearly the whole weekend , truly a down to earth guy !!! I will leave all the good stuff for him to talk about , but damn that truck was making some serious power!!!!!!
