I believe it had PRECISION INDUSTRIES cast into the intake side of it. And that was a bummer on the redlight for the final. As hot as his trans was I was wondering if his converter was letting go on him and caused him to push though the beams. At least he didn't baby it and ran it out the back door despite having redlighted. If the trans in my BURB wasn't still giving me fits I would have taken it out to see how slow it was.

I think it's one dmax who is the quickest v/s 3 dodges

Marco tossed in an additional 12.5 or 13K so the winner could get 25K. I didn't get a final number of trucks that showed up but I think it around 20 maybe a couple less. I think 33 were paid. The Smarty folks kicked in 10K earlier to sweeten the pot. I'm thinking they are starting to feel the heat from EFI live and are getting proactive to say in the tuning game for the cummins common rails. Good for them.:thumb:

That's just how Marco rolls, he's a great dude. Party with him sometime,,,, he won't let you buy shit, nit even your own drinks or food and he'll have ya a fresh one in front of you before you half way through the last one. Old guy can put away some scotch too lol!!!!!!!

It wasnt the brakes I dont think. although, about half the trucks there were skidding through the beams during staging yesterday. today i was at the end of the track so i didnt see all the launches. I'll let Matt and Jeff get on here when they can and tell their stories, but I would guess it wont be for a couple days. Jeff was going to leave today and drive as far as he could tonight, not sure about Matt. All I know is both those trucks are making some serious power, it just wasn't easy to control.

I was wrong about the tree it was a .4 protree, Michael cut a 0.013 light, best of the meet. Told him his foot had to have slipped, how the hell do you foot brake and cut a light like that?? The pushing through of the beams was caused by having to keep on top of the chargers, they said you could get back on top of them fast enough if you started to push and backed off. I heard that is what happened a lot and happened to both Matt and Jeff.

It appears Dale tripped the prestage beam and Ron went ahead and staged and Seth timed out before he could light the charger. Someone said that Dale sometimes uses his toe to see how close the front tire is to the beam and it light and stayed lit. If you watch the race Seth never gets off the line at all. Tough luck those are great guys, shitty way to lose. I wonder what the egt's were in those trucks, no oil downs just some munched trannies.

Just read the last 5 pages on my blackberry. Sounds like an awesome race and congrats to both Jeff and Matt. I will say that is awesome they were running 10s with 2.6 chargers. Wish I could have made it but can't wait for some videos to post up.

Note the two guys who race NHRDA the most Jeff and Matt both had issues with the light.

You love to make something out of nothing don't you?:roflmao:

Both Jeff and Matt pushed through the lights...It had NOTHING to do with the tree.

Congrats to Matt and Kelly!! I consider them close friends and they deserve being there!!:thumb:
