To say it nicely. People group the huge tip on a diesel along with smoke tunes. Normally the guy with a giant tip is the same guy trying to smoke out a family in a minivan. I personally don't like them because they serve no purpose. I did put a 5" in to 6"out on my cummins and it actually made is sound great. But a giant tip just screams giant bag of douche. Now check out my balls I have hanging from my hitch.

If you are still dead set on the giant useless tip, I took that pic at a local exhaust shop in Amarillo TX. Lots of money for them though.

Disposable said it about as tactfully as anyone could.

If "being a hater" means I dont like useless, silly crap.....then please put my name at the top of that list. There are "coal roller" groups out there that could tell you where to buy something like that. They are not represented here.

Now, if you actually want to talk about how to help make your truck perform better, go faster, or pull farther.....then we're here to help. :)

You can tell a truck is badass and fast by the the chrome exhaust tip. Bigger makes it faster and more badass. A 12" tip would have to be really badass and super fast. Or a 14yr old mentality.

Whoever started putting 12" tips on (surely as a joke or mockery  ) ought to be :violent:

I simply cannot fathom how anyone thinks it looks good. A 12" stack doesn't look good at all but it looks better than 12" tip behind the tire. Just SMH. It's worse than an obnoxious and useless wing a ford escort or coffee can on a ricer. WORSE than both of those! Only thing I can think of worse than those gigantic tips is any form of truck "nutz". Those still take the cake on fail status but only marginally.

I got a 6" stack on my Kubota garden tractor.
It's slant cut and hits trees alot.
I'm thinking a 12" might look tacky but then a flapper might bring it into perspective.

It doesn't look cool... Its pointless, useless, an obstacle, looks horrid...

Please explain why any one would want to run a tip like that? SOOOOOOOOO ****ing dumb. Buy a cummins and move on dawg..

Money says this is a flat biller thing... Im just not sure if the kids today are getting dumber and more clueless, or at 28 I am just getting old and bitter...

I physically want to knock the hell out of those flat bill dudes with the huge tips or giant stacks.

Back in 07ish I knew a guy with 8" dual tips on his 7.3 and I thought that was bad.

Kids are getting dumber. I'm 29 and do not feel the least bit old or bitter, and 10 years ago there is no way I would have thought that was cool.

I also can not stand the flat bill hats. I want to take everyone I see off of their stupid head and put a huge crease right in the middle of it and hand it back to them and watch the reaction. Just dumb.

Hey now! Lets leave the flat bills outta this! Some people justt have big heads "literally" and if you've ever worn a normal hat your head looks like a 4inch to 12 inch tip lol. It sucks but not all of us are Dbags that wear flat bills! lol

Since this thread was brought back up I would love to hear an actual valid reason as to why you have a problem with flat billed hats? Now curved up flat bills ya I couldn't argue with that lol
