The tallest one they make is for a 17" wheel and it's only 27.7" tall. I don't really want to top out at 110 mph:) They're really made for cars.

I know, but a 345/40r17 for 180 a piece. The biggest problems is I want a 17 or 18 inch rim and 15 inches wide. That cuts down on the selection. Also I am not sure how tall and how low I can go with out my truck looking like shit....

You aren't going to find any suitable 30"+ drag racing tire in that size wheel... Look into 16"s

The c10 is mainly going to be a summer street truck, that is why I am looking a the bigger wheels. But with a turboed 5.3 or 6.0 I would like to be able in street trim run a low 11s or high 10s. Maybe I will break down and put a duramax in and try for low 11s. I know that the rpm difference between the gas and diesel makes you need a bigger tire on a diesel.

Scored some factory aluminum pyo's for the front, going to get some 215/85/16 tires. Last time at the track I borrowed josh's steel wheels for the front. Little less rolling resistance.

Well I picked up a setup of 17x9 MT 285/60/17 Toyo Proxes STII on them! Those will be my street tires then I'll have the street slicks for the drag strip.

Keep pushing, you will get the transfer down and axle position right eventually like any other racer. Check out Dave Morgan Chassis stuff or Herb Adams have a Chassis engineering book. Each track is a different animal usually especially with weather changes from run to run.
