The track was a little slick, I know josh h 60 ft was up around 1.74-1.75. He has been hitting high 1.60's alot.

Define properly Brian :D the only 2wd trucks I've seen go 1.4-1.5 didn't just run slicks and adjustable shocks.

Look at dans crew cab, fat stickies and a good rear end setup and it would cut 1.70's with ease. If boosted gassers can run 1.50 60's why can't we? Just takes more ideas to get it there.

When I ran my single 72 with drag radisls I hit 1.72 average 60ft. But with more power mods they couldnt hook and would blow off. Slicks have to be hit hard to work. I would love to have a radial the same size as these slicks but o well. Next possible move is to remove some leafs and add air bags when I need to pull.

So according to you and Kory 1.7's with ease is what 4x4 trucks hit with drag radials or slicks? Get the f**k out lol. 4x4's with decent shocks, decent power and drag radials or cheater slicks cut better 60's more consistently.

Guys have been launching 2wd 1000+hp gas trucks for a loooong ass time. Cutting nice 60's and everything.

I think the reason we don't see many 2wd diesels tearing it up is because of the amount of R&D it takes to get set up properly vs buying a 4x4, throwing her in 4hi and punching it.

Well anyways going to soften the front a lil more in a few weeks and a few other things. Hoping for a low 7.50 1/8 mile run.

Obviously 2wd trucks cut crazy 60's but not 3/4 ton cc/sb trucks that's the point I'm trying to make

Why are easily half the fast single cab diesels 2wd? :D

Point is a 2wd can and will 60' just as hard as a 4wd, it's easier to 60' in a 4wd I agree but the debate wasn't which is cheaper.;)

Plus, most of our trucks are street machines. We love them because we (you 4x4 dudes) can line up with a Z06 at a stop light and embarrass the hell outta them.

thats why i want a 4wd

Here's a video of the pass where he pushed through the brakes. I have another one of the 7.6 pass, but I want to load it on a wifi connection so I can load it in HD. Anyway, here's this one for now.

Also to add with what Brian is saying the gas guys have been doing it forever. Plus I haven't seen the mention of why it's a little disadvantage to hooking with our trucks 2wd. Torque! Torque gets us moving and a 1000hp gasser is roughly a 500-600hp diesel. Just thought I'd chime in. The thought of making my zf6 rclb a 2wd just to add to the already uphill battle of being fast has crossed my mind for the weight difference.
