I thought I read somewhere the l5p uses a similar ecm to the Colorado which they already have tuning for? Maybe that's how
It is, but the calibration is different. I doubt the L5P calibrations are out on TIS yet. Who knows.

That doesn't look to beefy. And it looks like less fasteners from what can can tell.

Same number of headbolts if that's what youre questioning.
Your willing to pay 10 grand more for an unproven platform? I use my truck to make money so it has to perform, I went with a proven setup. In a couple years when they get all the little bugs worked out and freshen up the front end I'll go buy one. Untill then I'll enjoy my LML...
No kidding! Honestly, that makes my Wagler heads look choked off.Looks like it should move alot of air
The design looks like it would help with balancing air flow between the cylinders.Reposting this from DP. Lml head on top, l5p on bottom

Pretty sure he is talking about the intake runners.... there is 2 less bolts.

I'm with THEBAC, if these injectors can be run off a previous gen ECU, this could be a sweet upgraded head for the older motors.
Would the new heads even bolt to an older block? Wasn't the bottom end shifted around?Oiling to the top end is not the same path as the old heads from what Banks was saying. Sounds like we would need to come up with an aftermarket oiling system if using the newer heads on older blocks.
Witch I think 2 total would be plenty when using the gm sealant.
Wondering how you guys ordered your trucks without pricing. You just put the 500 down? I got a price when I ordered mine.
It's a lot like not knowing your baby's gender, either way your shelling out some doe
