It is, but the calibration is different. I doubt the L5P calibrations are out on TIS yet. Who knows.

I read where the base material is much stronger in the new heads. So it can be lighter and still as strong.

Your willing to pay 10 grand more for an unproven platform? I use my truck to make money so it has to perform, I went with a proven setup. In a couple years when they get all the little bugs worked out and freshen up the front end I'll go buy one. Untill then I'll enjoy my LML...

No kidding! Honestly, that makes my Wagler heads look choked off.

I'm with THEBAC, if these injectors can be run off a previous gen ECU, this could be a sweet upgraded head for the older motors.

Same head bolt pattern/number of head bolts as 2001-2016........

Oiling to the top end is not the same path as the old heads from what Banks was saying. Sounds like we would need to come up with an aftermarket oiling system if using the newer heads on older blocks.

Would the new heads even bolt to an older block? Wasn't the bottom end shifted around?
