Finally got a 12.18 Friday night and I'm still in the quest for the 11's. Don't believe my two sponsers (mastercard & Visa) will allow me to make that list :thinking2:

Why does Fidel have such low MPH? Is he just getting some monster 60' times or does his truck lay down on the top end really bad?

Here is a good question, when you run a 13.4 on the previous run, how do you know your going to break into roll cage time, and lift like you have ran a bunch of times to know???? he ran a 7.4 @ 94 in the 1/8 lift or not thats about all she had on a 37 jet of nitrous.

X2.

60' - 1.76
330' - 4.88
1/8th - 7.44 @ 95.88
1000' - 9.67
1/4 - 11.59 @ 113.00

Doesnt really compare to any timeslips that 'lifted'...Maybe a very mild lift from the 600'-750' and on.

Maybe he lifted just before the stripe. You don't lose much time that way, but you will lose a few MPH (3 maybe 4). On one of my bye runs at the NHRDA event I lifted just before the 1000' mark and still ran an 11.33, but my trap speed was only 106 MPH.

Not sure why you guys even care ? its not too hard to figure out that 11.5's at 113 is almost impossible with out lifting , unless you can cut 1.4 60's , best i could muster with that MPH was 11.63 , and that was on a 7.3 1/8 and 1.56 60ft .

Its just an interesting series of numbers when you compare it to other timeslips and use the term "lifted". I myself never been in the 11s so I guess I should STFU :D

well when you run a 13.4 the run before or whatever it was and you claim to lift cause your going to fast on the next run, like you have been there before to know how fast that is which he hasent!!, seems a bit odd dont you think???? so im sure it raised a question to if its the truth or not right??? Like all other threads every where you read there's always some thought brought into it, like when you ran a 9.3 on a .90 sixty foot:D:thumb:

Ill tell you one thing tho because i was actually there!!! At the 1/8 mile, seth sulavin, the funny car, and myself all had our trucks hit a wall at the 1/8 mile, the difference is we had enough power to pull through it, fidel prob didnt?? maybe thats what happened to him as well, he just didnt say anything, but the top three all experienced it, so id prob look at the facts before you say its "IMPOSSIBLE"!!!!!!

Numbers

You can drop a lot of mph and not hurt your et if you dump at the end. Duramini2001, speaking of numbers what did your monster run? Also why with your HP does yours not mph higher? What was your 1/8 hitting the wall? Thanks Jeff

Actually if you look at some of the others it really isn't much different. Look at RickD's and Markventling's They have relatively low mph's for the et's as well. Buck's 9.7 pass has a very low mph for the et because he blew a boot.

Not sure he uses the same setup on the strip, I would think even with the mph he makes 138+ he et would be lower. I know he has had traction issues
