Couple updates. I have always like the GM chicklets so I picked up a set online and put them on.

Logged the best fuel economy since buying last tank.

Mileage milestone.

These arrived after being built to my specs.

I am blown away with how nice they are, can not wait to get them put on in the next couple of weeks.

Also could not take the noise the Toyo AT2's I bought were making so after Scooby24 swapped to a set of the new Kumho Crugen HT51, I decided to try a set in 265 vs the old 285.

Sending the leather remnant off for a custom steering wheel to Autowoods.

Gave her a spit bath and cleaned up the tires and wheels.

Those wheels look real nice Nick. What kind of specs on the wheels if you don't mind me asking?:thumb:

I had great luck from my AT2's. Much better than the previous set of Terra Grapplers

Bought these off a local guy tires and wheels for $500, he had a truck with ball joint issues. I could not take the noise anymore so that is why I swapped them.

So my brother from another mother Sandog came down yesterday and we knocked out the interior. He arrived about 8:00am and we had everything but the front seats installed back in the truck by 12:30pm. I had to wire up the seat heaters and switches but he was a tremendous help getting through the tough parts.

Few pics along the way.
Driver side underneath pretty clean

Passenger side underneath had some gunk

Rear was really clean

Used the existing holes in the carpet to run the wiring. Spent some time deep cleaning underneath while it was all apart.
Passenger

Driver

Switches

The work area and table.

Clean foam

First one done

Both fronts baking in the sun

Rear installed

All done

This kit was quite amazing. Fits better than factory in my opinion, looks like factory. I bought the entry level kit which is leatherette, just like many of the OEM's are using. Our Mercedes has this same material. Well done Alea Leather.

Today I helped turbotuner20v install a new sliding door in his kitchen, and it was quite an awesome project. It came out very very well, but left us both a little tired. But when I go home there was still some daylight so I decided to change the fuel filter and give the ole girl a bath. Well that ended up turning into quite a project, as I went all the way, detailed the underhood, did tar removal and detailed the inner fenders, along with a full wash. This took me clear past dark, but was much needed.

Snapped a couple pics of the seats after sitting all day in the sun.

Detailed pic

Under the LED lights at dark

Underhood shots

This thing was a mess, but probably has been 2 months since a full wash.

Better exterior pics tomorrow

Love the seats man. I'd like to pickup a set of dark grey covers for mine.

We need pics of the new wheels mounted :thumb:

Thank you sir. The quality is off the charts, I just cant get over it.

One step closer to that today.

So this morning I got up and prepped the wheels for sealant. Using a new sealant, going to see how it holds up. CQuartz was great on the Forces, but tricky to apply.

Workstation

Out of the box, unwrapped and in the sunlight, no sealant

Ready for coating

First layer

Second heavier layer

Quick snap of the truck all cleaned up and ready for wheels

Not sure I dig the seats. Solid Red on an exotic ok, but on a 3/4 ton truck... I sure you have more in mind to bring it all together.

The blandness of our interior had started to bother me the last few years. I havent been able to decide what I want to do.

I love red, so I did red.

Those wheels are nice, those a one of one??

They are, but could be duplicated.

Got my dash all put back together after getting some more hot glue to make sure the switches would not pop out.

Also got my driver side seat saver installed so I don't track up the pretty new seats with crap on my jeans.
