2 piece to 1 piece driveshaft.

Exactly what I thought too. Most of the ones I'd seen had a "master" spline. The TSB came from Chevrolet/GM too. For some reason, GM got away from that during those years. I haven't had any need to pull the shaft out of my '01 but I'm going to look at that one carefully. I know any of the big...

2 piece to 1 piece driveshaft.

Back in the late 80"s there was an issue with a slight vibration that was tracked back to the 2 piece driveline. THe TSB that came out was instructions to "re-clock" the slip yoke 1 spline off. Seems there was a phase angle problem. Cured the 89 extended cab long bed I had at the time.

putting d rings on my trailer

Load the toys as you normally would, then figure out how best to tie them down. That way the rings get to be exactly where they need to be. My trailer had 2 d-rings in the rear and nothing in the front. I mounted the winch, and then the chocks for the motorcycles and used the E-track in 6'...

    LB7: Snowball effect with glowplugs

Try spraying them with Hoppe's Gun Solvent. I've had success using that when PB, Kroil and everything else failed. Smells nice too.

    Borrow Allison Engine stand adaptor

Some years ago I rebuilt an Allison AT 540, I used an regular engine stand and swung the arms around so I could bolt it to the PTO opening in the case. And that one I'm thinking is much heavier than the T-1000. I'd get an opinion from one of the guys that are current, but that worked for me.

    LB7: Injector Cup/Copper washers

Original injectors made it to 132k then filled the oil pan with fuel. Got a set of remans from Pensacola (yes, I know), installed and had a miss right off the bat. Pulled them again to double check everything, replaced the o-rings and coppers again. Reinstalled, and still have a miss.Pulled them...

    LB7: Injector Cup/Copper washers

Yep. They were spotless. All the coppers just fell off and stayed in the cups. Picked them out with a hook. No marks on either side to indicate they were even a little tight between the cup and the injector. No signs of compression in the cups which is good, but the fact there's a difference...

    LB7: Injector Cup/Copper washers

After pulling the injectors again, I noticed the copper washers don't appear to be making any contact with the cup and injector. Are they supposed to seal the injector to the bottom of the cup? I measured the old ones at .078 to .079 and the new ones are exactly the same thickness. Had carbon on...
