I know i have a lot to learn, pretty much an idiot when it comes to diesels, and more and more heading towards my tuner knows about the same amount.... Lift pump arrived the other day, doing it mid next week. How do i find out if my turbo is in fact the problem for sure? -

I have Autometer EGt and Boost gauges on my column. The boost is tapped on the up, right before it flattens out and on top... not sure if thats relevant but thought i would throw it out there. -

it is metal, but i'm going to use this as an excuse to do the turbo, then i'm going to be having someone else do the tune. keeping it conservative til the time comes when i can do the tranny (probably 6-8 months out) While he is doing the turbo he we are going to do the legit egr delete... -

When I went back to him to log it, I did have him change a shift point and it was in kilometers and confused him, then hew adjusted that but didn't do anything anywhere else.... excellent input, thank you. One thing tho, I saw his tables (didn't understand much) and saw where it says it... -

Did the blocker, zero effect. And boost still won't pass 24 when tune calls for 32. I think im going to put a 4094 on our (turbo sounds kinda unhealthy too) and see what it does. Thanks everyone for helping out, blocker plate and lift pump ordered today and on their way, full coolant flush done excessively yesterday, will install this two parts and go from there -

it is shut off in the tune cause like an idiot i never checked til today and just took the guys word from it where i bought it from, ill be doing that right away and also replacing the missing bolt directly in front of where that goes, hope that solves some of these issues. -

i have tried, i have a pretty busy schedule so i arrange a rough time with him and tell him ill call when i'm on my way, then can't get hold of him after that. I imagine its just cause we are both so busy with conflicting schedules. but whatever the case is, can't seem to get hold of him... -

Update, went to confirm the EGR blocker plate, appears to not be blocked. Also, a bolt just forward of where it would go is missing..... -

I'm currently on ATP site and about to order robs tunes, but i'm hesitant cause i just paid someone 500 to already do it and now he is almost impossible to get a hold of, i don't know if the problem is even tune related since i didn't own it more than a week before having it done..... I do... -

From what i was told it only messes with it cause most people don't know what they are doing and over oil and that messes with it, so i cleaned it all out and lightly re oiled and ran it for about a week before changing the MAF, figured that was sufficient to eliminate that being the problem. -

While im in it. More often when im WOT but also lower, has even fell out with cruise set on flat ground, but usually only when i'm getting on it to some degree.
