    I installed a ppe stage 5 kit with the black converter in a friends truck and he has been really happy with it . thank you for all the responses I have a sun coast 1056 in another friends truck which tows 43 ft 5th wheel he is really happy with it been in his truck for four years now...

    checked voltage at pin c at trans had 12.60 volts . did the limp mode test were you unplug trans connector and check for forward and reverse . have reverse no forward . checked on tech 2 to make sure I was in third gear which it was raised rpm to around 1400 no...

    I used the tool to make sure it was in neutral before I removed the old one . but can check again

    with tech 2 looking at it in trans data . I didn't use a dvm at round connector at trans can do that tomorrow I been looking at it on my lunch break

    have ign voltage 13.90 idling . if I unplug gray connector on trans still no difference . only have reverse . when I put it in reverse turbine speed goes to 0 ,when I put it in drive turbine speed doesn't change . if I put in drive and try to shift trans with tech 2 the scanner...

    A gm dealer did the work . I'm comfortable working on it . It's easy to rebuild them or put shift kits and converters in them when they were working right ,just. Haven't worked on ones with problems .to know what's the best way to go to find the problem that's why I started this post for advise...
