    toasted the lift pump, what to get?

    I got the parts from napa and a few connectors from work. I didnt cut anything factory and I can bypass it with one straight screw driver. I get these filters, uhhhhhh..... cheap too! when my source runs out I will probably get some better ones.

    i have had the edelbrock 1792 on for almost a year now, probably 17-20k miles. it has power but doesnt make any noise, safe to say its fried. im not spending a ton of money on a setup but i would like something to last longer than a few oil changes.... what do you guys recommend? and...

    Roasting tires

    i havent been able to spin my tires in 1st, they start to loosen up right before the shift. when second hits they light up and about mid way through 3rd they hook. thats with 1/2 tread 285s. anyone have any tips to bring the charger on quicker in first?

    last time i was at the track the truck was on h2 tires with no lift pump and i ran: rt--1.374 60ft 1.956 1/8 9.086 @82.87 1/4 14.044 @97.23 went back last weekend with 285s on stock wheels and an edelbrock 1792 lift pump and took off the tail gate and ran: rt- .779 60ft 1.851 1/8...

    i was having the EXACT same problem, the valve opens and doesnt shit until you return to idle for a few. the shim mod fixed it (i did .049"), it was very consistant after, i just put the lift pump on too and it helps quite a bit, harder pull down low, in the middle and up top too. smokes...

    dual cp3's

    i wouldlike to know why the fords sound SO much different than ours even though we have the same turbo... my buddies 6.0 sounds like a jet at idle and it hurts your ears when he rolls on it slowly.
