It can be installed at home with simple handtools.

When you put them on a Dodge, you will get 200mpg towing 75,000lb uphill, but us lowly Dmaxes will get a bit less.

Seriously, I do not have mileage numbers, but I doubt it will affect mileage significantly either way.

Calculated HP gain on a stock LLY should be about 35-40rwhp.

26k thats great, are there any benifits of 3500ms shot can you get enough timing in there to squeeze it all in?

I set it to 3500 just to see if it would hold high pressures with big shots.

Now the real work begins to figure out how to use the extra fuel right.

I'm going to start with my existing shot, and move it up and down at max pressure.

Cool, keep us posted, i see a set of these in my future some day as i would like to keep the vvt just because it spools so good with the stick so i have to get more power elsewhere!!!!

I don't see any problem in hitting over 540HP with a stock LLY charger with the right tweaking. People really underestimated the size of our chargers. It's pretty big. We clean up 100% at 32PSI and 500HP.

mcrat do you think our lb7's would benefit much with dual cp3's since our charger isnt good for much more than 500 horse i know it would if we couldnt keep rail pressure but just wondering if the added pressure for more fuel with different timing would be better

Thats what i keep telling people but some folks just have a hard time understanding how these turbos work, if we could find a way to mod them so that they kept driving the wheel when the veins were opened upto say like 30% or lower so you could have more usable use of all the vein %. right now if you comand 30% vein pos. it opens the housing up to maybe help lower egts but you lose the drive angle to maintain 32psi!!!

i wouldlike to know why the fords sound SO much different than ours even though we have the same turbo... my buddies 6.0 sounds like a jet at idle and it hurts your ears when he rolls on it slowly.

AS far as i know the ford use a different number of veins in the turbo, thats why they whistle more and im not sure but it seem like ford programs there turbo differently, to me it seems like they have them trying to make the most boost they can at anygiven time . and that would explain why they have so many problems with them and they also bark like a rabid dog chasing the mail man!!!
