i have had the edelbrock 1792 on for almost a year now, probably 17-20k miles.

it has power but doesnt make any noise, safe to say its fried. im not spending a ton of money on a setup but i would like something to last longer than a few oil changes.... what do you guys recommend?

and for what its worth, its still on right now and there are zero issues pulling fuel through it.

They are made by the same company. PPE has the new gaskets (I think they are called) for the low sulfur fuel.

I run Kennedy Diesel and love it. FASS is excellent quality as well but noisey IMO!

PPE is made by a different company, same design, we had a lift pump go bad on the way home from school, it almost stranded us, edelbrock 1792.

There made by the same company Sx they just had them changed around some. I was sucking the internall screen shut and leaking when upside down, to think they run alky thru them and are diesel makes them leak what gives.

the new fass is supposed to be good
40000 miles on my kds and they still work
imo you need both of em though to have good pressure

I've had the FASS 95 for probably 30K miles and its still working good, its a little noisey, but only when standing outside the truck, but then I know its working. I do like the idea of having filters on the lift pump no matter what the brand is.

how much pressure do you get from the fass?

do you have a drive pressure gauge:p

I normally read 8 psi, but I have a crappy setup, the isolator seems to lose pressure on the gauge side fairly often, so when it starts reading low, I have to add a little anti freeze to the line to bring it back up to read correctly.

You havent sent me the drive pressure gauge setup yet, I'm still waiting on it...:D

well I got a filter and a water seperator on mine :D

If the tape is red, send it on down, if not, i'll use my own tape and super glue, I like a clean looking install.....;)
