    p/s sounds like a hydroboost issue to me causing high pressure. i had several where the check valve in the hydroboost failed and caused this. not sure if you have access to pressure guages but it may help checking pressures?!

    dont go as cheap as possible. i have an 02 apart now for the third time in 3 weeks because the customer keeps getting injectors from dcp on ebay. what a joke!

    Tcc i agree. im not one to do the parts shotgun approach. maybe the tcc solenoid temperatur vs resistance is wacking out under load or its going completely open??? However it does come down to a rebuild and converter thats fine too id just like to pinpooint exactly the issue.

    alternator load test the alternator and see how many amps it putting out. not sure what autozone used or did.

    p0700 you probably wouldnt have to go to a dedicated trans shop. most shops should have a scanner to pull the codes, command fuel pressure, watch balance rates etc. if you were closer id check it with mine.

    p0700 p0700 indicates there are trans faults stored in the TCM. possible trans issue? most likely theres more codes than what your scan tool lets u see

    rear end One other thing i have seen on rare occasions is the axle bolts loose. you may just want to take a quick check. ive had two trucks that the axle bolts worked themselves loose and caused problems.

    rear diff i had an 05 lly. It did the same exact thing. GT4 3.73 gear and G80 for the gov lock. The gov lock gernaded in mine i ended up putting a whole new carrier in it and bearings. i highly doubt a fluid change will solve anything!

    anyone got any good or upgraded lb7 heads for sale? or valve springs? got my bottom end built and assembled. i gave my heads to a guy last october and he has done absolutley nothing to them. let me know if you have anything. thanks

    the late 90's had some blower motor resistor problems. pay close attention to the ground wire in the blower motor resistor connector it may be melted.may sound stupid but you may want to check your amp draw on the blower motor. ive chased that before

    Repositioning the harmonic balancer is not how you balance a bottom end or rotating assy. the stock harmonic balancer is zero balanced and is meant to go on one way. If you have an aftermarket damper "yes" you can adjust more but it even comes zero balanced.

    i seen you mentioned balancing your crank. id be interested to know how there balancing yours? how far out it is? and did they purchase or make the bob weights to balance it correctly?
