WT (Work Truck) and upgrade later

Adding PW and PDL could be a huge job if none of the wiring is there. That's one of the things I was curious about.

WT (Work Truck) and upgrade later

Has anyone here bought a WT as an cheaper way to get into a new Duramax? I don't even mind roll up windows but things like bluetooth would be nice to have. I could even upgrade the interior later etc. I'm wondering what the lowest package worth buying is??

Fleet truck with 185,000 miles/do it?

Good advice. I bet that sucker spent tons of time idling. Hopefully I can check it out tomorrow. Also, I am looking for a LONG bed and most crew cabs I find are SHORT beds.

Fleet truck with 185,000 miles/do it?

It looks like it has been quite dirty in it's life but I'm not too worried about dust and dirt. I'm going to go check it out in the next few days. They are asking $12,500 so I think that is cheap for what it is.

Fleet truck with 185,000 miles/do it?

Would you buy a fleet/company truck with 185,000 miles? 2005 CCLB 4x4. The price is very good and I'm willing to put a little money and maintenance back into it if the major stuff (Engine/Trans/Diff's) would have potential with that many miles (doesn't seem like too many in comparison to...)

Center console to bench seat swap

yep, sorry about that. I am looking around at 01-05 Duramax trucks for the most part and quite a few of the CC LB 4x4 trucks I have seen have the stupid center console. Other than a bench seat is there a dash piece needed or anything?

Who here has played with gasser EFI Tunes?

That is the same thing we have and it gets 15-16 all day long. I would love 20. We are on the highway ALOT. So If I bought EFILIVE would I still need to pay you to tune it like that? Something tells me I need to do some reading.

    Early LB7's/Headgaskets?

I live in Washington so It would be nice to have a truck that never had a Cat. We don't have testing where I am yet but the Washington Gov. has a thing for California and their stupid emmisions laws.

Thanks, I might just spring for EFILIVE since I am looking around for a Duramax also. I am a hands on guy that loves to mess with stuff so I would want the program myself.

Thanks guys, It is great to get the unbiased info straight from here. If you didn't read one of my first posts I was a Cummins guy:villagers: I got rid of the truck 3 years ago for the Liberty and now I am dying to get back into a diesel truck. My wife and I really like the Chevy/GMC trucks...
