    I never went WOT on the 4-5 shift. Never had it at the track either, it didn't last long enough. I'm pretty sure my truck was built on a monday morning or friday afternoon also :mad:

    My convertor doesn't like to stayed locked anymore. I can blow thru it with 1/4 throttle in 5th. RPMS just go up!! The trans just stopped going into LIMP mode becaus the convertor can't hold. I wish it would have lasted 50K at 500HP. Mine hasn't lasted 10K on a 100HP mileage tune:(

    You"ll need to purchase Master Install kit's for both the front and rear. You will also have to get new axle seals for the front. Those are dealer items only and usually on back order. You can use RTV for the rear axle shaft seals.

    You can't give it too much fuel in 5th. You will LIMP it easy. It will get easier and easier. It's really hard not get on it while on the highway trying to get around someone in traffic. I'd run a 100HP tune and be real easy while in 5th.

    Mines on a LLY and I like it a lot. I put the muffler on it first but I didn't like the tone and it was too qute for me. Took the muffler out and it sounds really good and kinda loud. I'd buy another kit but go with 5". Install was super simply like Midnight said.

    How much do wider wheels help?

    A wider wheel will allow for more contact patch. I'd say it's worth it. As said above the tire will "crown" on the skinnier wheel.

    In bad weather you could just turn the headlights on. I find the DRL's very annoying. I don't think the headlights or any lights shold be on during the day. Maybe it's just me.

    I decided to go a different route on my truck. I got a amber bulb and replaced the clear bulbs. I don't know if this is possible on the NBS trucks or not. Might be something to consider instead of totally shutting them off.
