    That makes sense, when I was building my Denali, late model stuff was hard to find, Hicksville was my best source. But it's a year or so later, parts are beginning to be easier to come by. My 15 is not that different from your 17, if I can help at all, sing out.

    It would seem odd, to just start putting the 3.0L Duramax in the 1/2 ton, and go away from the 6.6L Duramax in the 3/4 - 1 tons. Stranger things have happened I guess.
