    New Diesel Fanatic Need's Help

I'm running a raptor 150 because i got a great deal on it. If i had it to do over I would do a Fass with their pickup and delete the factory fuel filter head but that's just an opinion. I'm also running an MBRP down pipe because it was a last minute decision when doing the trans and that's what...

    New Diesel Fanatic Need's Help

To take advantage of the trans you will need a lift pump and new tunes. The down pipe should be done while the trans is out as well. That should put you over the 500 rwhp mark. If you want to race you will need some form of centerlink brace and at least tie rod sleeves. My advice is don't go...

    Lb7 build

I've been meaning to make the 2.5 hour trip to DT to fine tune mine. What turbo, injector, pump set up are you running?

Where are the best vacation spots you have been?

Lake Powell looks fun. I used to really enjoy Lake of the Ozarks, but it's way too crowded now. My wife and i just came back from Amelia Island last month. It's on the Northeast side of Florida and is not real well known. I love this because even on 4th of July weekend, it wasn't very...

    New pictures

Thanks for the compliments, only 62,000 miles on this one. My grandpa bought it brand new in September of 01. I didn't relocate, i removed it and all it's mounting hardware as weight reduction. No issues this summer, i always plug the truck in in the winter so we will see how that goes...

"OFFICIAL" What did you do to your D-Max today?

Today I replaced the Duramax badges with new ones (old ones weren't in the best shape) and lowered them down a bit to where the 2500 badges used to be. Also ditched the Bilsteins for the Rancho 9000s.

Info: First dyno run at MBRP

Our local dyno won't run diesels either for the same reason. He told me when he gets a better fume extraction system he would. But you would think MBRP would already be set up since they make parts for diesels.

    LB7 turbo input

Just did the manifolds and up pipes. I think RCD puts a 366 shaft set up in the ihi frame plus the bigger turbine wheels. The RCD unit is half the cost of twins and made 703 on a local guys truck. However twins would be ideal.

When mine doesn't work it just jumps to 2000

    New mods... very pleased

I wouldn't know on that since my edge probe decides when it wants to read correctly or not. But the difference in spool up is definitely noticeable.

    New mods... very pleased

After a lot of debate and uncertainty about the gains i pulled the trigger on WC Fab 3" Y-bridge, WC Fab 3" boost tubes, and PPE manifolds & up-pipes. I have been worried ever since i bought them that i would be unhappy with the results but man am i glad i did. The turbo spools MUCH faster. I...

    LB7 turbo input

Not sure on the weight. I don't know of any public scales around here. It is an extended cab short bed with the spare and all it's mounting equipment gone and the passenger battery and all it's mounting gone. 285/75/16s on pyos. No extra accessories such as 5th wheel hitch bumpers light bars etc.

    LB7 turbo input

Well i didn't listen when everybody told me i would want more. I am already considering upgrading from the Stealth 64 after only a few months on the truck and this time i'm looking for more input. My truck is a DD at this point but racing is what i like to do with it. The heaviest thing i tow...

    Braided brakelines and slotted rotors

My stock brakes were shot. The back side of the rotor had almost no contact patch left in some places. I've never seen brakes fail like that, i wish i took pictures. When i am staging i get to a point where the harder i push the peddle, the softer the peddle becomes it seems. I can usually...

    Braided brakelines and slotted rotors

I have the Power Stop Extreme Truck & Tow kit on my truck ( slotted rotors and carbon infused ceramic pads). I got it on sale from Summit for $370 shipped. It stops the truck well and it will hold my truck back at 15 psi most of the time but it is right on the edge of what the brakes will...
