And in case some don't realize, the flares are different from Chevy to Gmc. The Chevy's don't have the light in them and a little different shape if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah I hear ya, the one I have I'm pretty sure you could still run a cover. (unless it's an inset kind) My toolbox lid is below the bed rails a little bit.
And I have the rail system in my bed and its far enough away from it that it's not to much of a problem. Not sure how the 50 gallon tank...
I just had the 40 gallon tank/toolbox combo installed before Christmas because we was going on a 2000 mile trip with our fifth wheel camper and let me tell you that was nice not having to worry about stopping half way through the day for fuel with a big rv.
It's been working flawlessly...
I have to agree, your truck.. but man my first impression is it looks pretty stupid. Seems like you'd have to modify quite a bit though but maybe not.?

I have 70k miles and a year and a half about on mine and still perfect.
I would say you're trouble is very abnormal, I dunno.

If you're in south east Wisconsin you would be fairly close to wehrli custom fab. They built mine in my last lml and it seemed like a good build.

Yeah it's the park assist button. I always hit it when I back up to a trailer or into my garage, I don't like the vibration either.
I would hope the new trucks would still have that button also.

Very sharp, the Chevy's are growing on me for sure.
I like the daytime front end look, I've only seen one a couple times around this area.

My lml was starting to crack a couple places also when I sold it a couple years ago.
I really like the 15+ dashes, they won't ever do that I don't think.

Yes that's what mine was. Took 5 minutes to tighten all the bolts up a bit and pretty much totally stopped the leak.
I've since had it off for my compound turbo kit install and so it's got a new seal now.

What he said ^^
I bought my lml last year with 21k miles on it and when I went to put an exhaust on a few days later I noticed oil leaking from that spot too. Checked the pan bolts and sure enough, they was lose and that stopped my leak snugging them up a bit.
Hope your that lucky...
L5p for sure I'd say. I had a 17 model and put 60k miles on it basically with zero problems. They run excellent for a stock truck..
