    Wouldn't even worry about it till it hits 230. May be time to clean the cooler stack. Separate the all the coolers on the front of the truck, hit em with degreaser & pressure wash clean. Search it on Google or whatever & you'll find some good instructions with pictures

    Gauge on dash is inaccurate. Just keep as eye on coolant level but you should be fine. LLY's were notorious for having head gasket issues. Drive the truck hard then shut it down and let sit overnight. Squeeze the upper radiator hose before starting the truck and see if it's hard, should be...

    Got it, thanks. Trucks a 2008. Been dealer serviced it whole life. Had a stack of maintenance records with it. Drives a lot better than my white truck ever did. Definitely missing the torque of the Duramax though.
