    So if the ez link can flash a factory tune into the ecm why does hp tuners need to modify the ecm to accept their tune? Is this like needing an unlock tool for the 13+ Cummins and years later Efi LIVE finally decided they can do it without it?

    That is irrelevant. The truck doesn’t care how much weight it’s moving. It only knows 0-100% throttle input, make it work.

    Ummm :confused: These are not p pump trucks. There’s no such thing as mileage tunes and towing tunes. Higher power tunes do not make your truck shift sooner with lower throttle input shitty tuning does.

    A lot of states have it worse. If the truck is tuned right you won’t have any problems passing smog. It’s a simple plug it in and kick the tires system.
