    LBZ: LBZ Cracked Block

Make it happen Don. Lol. We just need to be able to pour the coals to this thing. I mean, a windowed block is a lot more exciting that just a measly little crack. [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    LML S400 compounds

I don't think you will gain anything stepping up to a 72mm compressor with the 88mm, just a tad more lag. A compound setup should not see the same shaft speeds on the valley charger as it would as a single charger. Which is why we see more failure on singles. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    LBZ: LBZ Cracked Block

If sleeves increase the resistance to cracking without any issues related, we be happy to do all 8. Already in the mindset of doing an LML block and possibly half filling. My curiosity on the sleeves is if it prevents one issue yet causes another from material being removed. Sent from my...

    LML S400 compounds

I would think the thrust wear is more of a concern on single charger applications rather than compounds. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    LBZ: LBZ Cracked Block

We will have to do some digging on the sleeves. Not sure I have seen anything on it for the duramax blocks. An LML block would certainly be an upgrade from what we have though. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    Duramax block strength

I am sure the .020 doesnt help but I feel the heat is the primary culprit and the wall thickness happens to be the corresponding weak link. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    LBZ: LBZ Cracked Block

As promised. These things do not get spoken of very much so here is one of those unfortunate events... This is the stock LBZ block with 234k miles. It's been overheated many times along with lots of abuse. First overheating incident was at Ennis, literally boiled coolant out all over the...

    Duramax block strength

Who is this Russell character, hasn't he been MIA for years. Lol. We were pressuring the coolant system rapidly after all the abuse we have been putting this thing through. Ended up finding a nice little crack in a bad location. I will make a post with details so we can keep folks in the loop...

    LML S400 compounds

As much as I would like to try triples, the compounds serve their purpose well. Luke is just mad because we still have A/C. [emoji1787] The 369/488 setup spooled decent but definately choked in high RPM's. The 472/87/1.0 in the valley is a little more lag but absolutely rips in the high RPM's...

    s491/100/1.45 Forced Inductions

Absolutely, LML block has been sitting and waiting for a celebrity shot. :hug:Not sure if we will half fill or not at this point. Consensus is to leave it alone and run it.

    s491/100/1.45 Forced Inductions

Sorry guys, it's been a while since I have updated progress on this charger. The 472/87/1.0 paired with this 491/100/1.45 has performed well above our expectations. Spool up is not bad after swapping to a Goerend J converter. Drivability on the street is decent. Power is phenomenal. In Denver...

LML 16 LML w rear main leaking and already tuned

Try snugging up the pan bolts. LML's are very common to leaking pan gaskets and it will seep from the bell housing. Most times there will be bolts that are a little loose and may or may not seal up. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk
