So it seems my rear main is leaking (3-4 drops a night), i changed oil this weekend and cleaned it good and it seems to be between oil pan and trans, i guess it could be rear of pan gasket but i doubt i am that lucky, and since it has EFI and all deleted what are my chances of getting any warranty, just rolled over 41K for miles. What are the chances it is a different leak and just ending up there looking like a rear main seal?

Try snugging up the pan bolts. LML's are very common to leaking pan gaskets and it will seep from the bell housing. Most times there will be bolts that are a little loose and may or may not seal up.

What he said ^^

I bought my lml last year with 21k miles on it and when I went to put an exhaust on a few days later I noticed oil leaking from that spot too. Checked the pan bolts and sure enough, they was lose and that stopped my leak snugging them up a bit.

Hope your that lucky

Yeah I put money it’s the upper pan leaking. I would rather it be a rear main, the upper pan sucks to do. Seen lots of lmm’s do the same. Seems the mid plate and block have a good little lip where the pan is suppose to seal and not enough sealant there.

That’s just on the couple I’ve dicked with though

Yes that's what mine was. Took 5 minutes to tighten all the bolts up a bit and pretty much totally stopped the leak.

I've since had it off for my compound turbo kit install and so it's got a new seal now.

UPDATE ---- that seemed to be the issue. All the rear 8-9 bolts took at least a half turn and it seemed to be the ticket , thanks for the advice fellas
