We cut the wire a few inches for the tcm and it still showed 12 volts at the cut it was dead at the 20 pin... truck drive fine until cel comes on then it's stuck in one gear... should I try a valve body wiring harness or tcm?
I have a 2006 that keeps setting a p0659 I cleaned and greased 20 pin connector no difference... I tested the voltage at tcm and at the 20 pic connector both showing 12 volts. I see that it should be 6 volts, any suggestions? Thanks
Right the factory one had a spring in it that would wear in to the shaft. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a marine engine. I can't remember which company it is but the engines are blue, they almost look like they use magnuson superchargers on their marine engines.
Look on eBay for used or reman lsa blowers they can be had pretty cheap. Gm had a recall on them for a couple going bad it can be fixed for 50 bucks but the dealers changed the whole supercharger. I just put one on my 06 Silverado with a 4.8. Older engines with cathedral port heads need adapters...
I always leave mine a couple turns off the leaf spring, spooling at the line will load them. I've had them too tight before where it actually made the wheel hop worse. I could see having them against the spring all the time with a trans brake and I anti seize the crap out of them.
I was tossing around the idea of lowering keys a while back. Oregondmax ended up doing them right around that time and I think he said they had trouble getting his front end back in spec, that was a while ago I haven't heard how it ended up. Hopefully he will chime in.
I had a set of clear dynamik ones in my truck they fit good but I went through 2 sets of parking lights because they kept fogging up. I had a buddy of mine sand and buff my factory ones and I tore them apart and painted the inside white, they came out pretty good.
