LLYs are freaks from nature for making big power with stock bottom end but also have many small issues compared to the others. Once building it then go lbz. No ficm or cups is awesome. Plus injectors last.
You said 2 complete road rippers from Omaha got shipped there. Still had issues. Seems fishy to me cause those are drop in ready units. I think the location is screwing you. Have you tried reaching out to corporate?
Here is the problem. Companies send a product over to China to be copied and mass produced. Witch the design is close but the quality of the metals is not up to par. Last a year or two and done. Mishimoto radiators are junk cause of this.
Certified Transmission is not a fly by the night shop. Many of them in the midwest. Not saying they are the best but are a decent factory power replacement or small tuned truck. The ones around here dont rebuild your trans. Just swap it out. Thet have a facility that is for rebuilding them...
HP is NOT what destroys stuff. TQ is what does. You can make high hp on a stock bottom end by keeping tq numbers low. Torque is what makes these heavy trucks fun unless you're a dyno queen or less then 5k.
Ya. Compare the flow sheets of all the trucks. Perfect example. A lly 200% will flow almost as mush as a lbz 250%. I would definitely leave the tighter housing on valley charger.
LBZ 150s?
Reason I ask is with triples and 250s I barely broke 1200hp. Lbzs flow a lot less then others.
I'm going to run my 400s with the 72/88 combo. Valley will be a .9 housing
