Yeah, not looking to push these compounds to there limit, truck will be a street truck that may pull or 1/4 pass once in a while. This is also why I kept the .90 housing on the S472 for better drivability. 150's should get me to where I want to be 1,200-1,300 rwhp. My puller made more than that with 150's and ran great!

LBZ 150s?
Reason I ask is with triples and 250s I barely broke 1200hp. Lbzs flow a lot less then others.
I'm going to run my 400s with the 72/88 combo. Valley will be a .9 housing

you need to sit back and learn a bit more. throwing 15 posts out each morning on different threads of half ass info does not work.

I personally disagree on this thread. I am sharing an experience on what we've done on a good friend of mine's truck with a 468/87/1.00 and 488/96/1.32 setup that worked well on that application. Truck has a built motor (stock displacement), 6480af, stage 1 heads, dual 10mm pumps, and RCD 150% injectors (LBZ). That said, we were more cautious with the way it was setup and cannot validate that a gate was 100% required.

The topic of wastegates appears to be tribal knowledge without a ton of data out there. I'm not saying I'm a genius on this wastegate topic but I do believe my data to be valid in this instance.

Ya. Compare the flow sheets of all the trucks. Perfect example. A lly 200% will flow almost as mush as a lbz 250%. I would definitely leave the tighter housing on valley charger.

The LB7 injectors flow more than stock LBZ injectors, so we will see how far the 150's go. Ideally I would like 250's, but figured we will try what we have first.
