    Fuel pressure regulator

Do you have a way of comparing desired vs actual fuel rail pressure while you are cranking? And if you start the truck, is the fuel pressure normal for the conditions in which the truck operates? The fuel pump runs at full pressure all the time. The FPR is a solenoid that limits the pressure...

    ACDelcotds.com and tech2win help

I don't know the answer to your questions, but isn't there a phone number on the website to call for help? I sure hope so. Or maybe even look at Youtube to see if someone has posted a 'how to' video on the subject.

TurboBrake on a stock tune is there any benefit?

As I recall it, the turbo brake only worked with the torque converter locked. So using tow haul, while not mandatory, that kept the TC locked almost all the time.

    Trailer Brakes Too Weak

GREAT question. Voltage plays a part but you must have amps to make it work.

    Trailer Brakes Too Weak

If you THINK your magnets need to be replaced, see if there is a magnet from a higher capacity axle that will fit your brake setup. My factory brakes were 5400 lbs, I updated the magnets to 7000 lb magnets. Now that's not as good as replacing my 5400 lb axles with 7000 lb axles, but you do get...

    metal in oil

My initial thought is that someone failed to clean the block after the machine work. While I don't have extensive engine rebuilding experience, I have done a few and have never experienced this result. I sure hope your engine isn't damaged by this.

lag in acceleration on my LLY

I would start by checking the MAF, MAP, BARO, and any air and engine temps to make sure they reflect the conditions where you are. If your ECT says the engine is -300*, your ECM will not correctly fuel the engine, as an example. If everything there is A-OK, then I would look at anything related...

    Buying a truck with P0741

A hot flush is accomplished by a machine that circulates hot cleaning thru your trans lines and cooler (or engine or ??) such that you get a very effective cleaning of the flushed devices. Mike L said always do hot flush when you need to clean lines, cooler, etc., not the spray can type. The...

Module confusion and issues on my 2008 LMM

With nothing on pin C or K, you know that your problem is elsewhere. That's a little good news.

Need help with diagnosing an ABS issue

There are 2 parts to an ABS - the valving (BPMV) and the circuitry (EBCM). I have never heard of anyone repairing the valving but the circuitry (circuit board) is sometimes found with broken solder joints. You can find videos about removing and repairing this part.

MAF sensor and mating connector part numbers

This connector has multiple uses. If you Google the part number and then start looking at the various applications that come up, you will get the idea.

Need help with diagnosing an ABS issue

There have been some recent posts on another forum by several people who seem to have similar problems to yours that just stepping on the brakes "very hard" while stopped solves the problem. Very hard to some is like slicing almost melted butter to others, but I don't think it would damage...

Module confusion and issues on my 2008 LMM

I think that the pin C feeds something for export vehicles (not yours), but also notice that it feeds Onstar. Follow pin C up and to the right.

Module confusion and issues on my 2008 LMM

Great buy and likely at a price lower than any visit to the dealer for a diagnosis. And when looking at the waveform you can tell whether your LAN is working or not. Even where these situations are intermittent, it still tells you the story and gets you to the problem module quicker than any...
