    I picked up a trans jack from harbor freight got the 2k lb one and as much as i just want to pay someone to do this i think I’ll rally it this week. Might just swap out the rear main at the same time. I’ll pick up new coolers too. Thanks guys.

    turn key on but don't start truck and rapidly "not franticly" press the gas pedal 10 or so times will reset the oil life if i remember right. the rattle noise may be idler pully, water pump or something else :hug: welcome to the forum and to becoming a mechanic :D

    Love this comment but yes would be upset and if said shop has social media call them out. Fastest way to get issues resolved now a days. Of course after you do this and get stuck backid go through it and make sure it was done properly.
