    I agree with Brian. You won't make up the difference in savings. However if you're doing lot's of towing then the diesel makes a lot more sense.

    Unless you've got some big tires or you're turning lots of RPM, you should be shifting short of 90mph.

    On my LB7 with no special dyno tune, if I lockout OD it'll gladly let me over rev the engine without ever trying to upshift.

    Yes it's bigger. I tossed a Spal fan on top of both of mine as well.

    I'd get the Oddesey, you kill a Red Top once and they seem to be dead forever. Plus they don't like the Texas heat in my experience.

    I run the same one on the outside of my frame just before the rear tire. Works great!
