new guy with an awd ss having traction issues
how much sidewall do you have when launching at the track? Something on 20's with 4" of sidewall and a radial IIRC? Great looking and handling, not so good when you toss some HP at them though.:D it's costly but perhaps try a MUCH taller sidewall, 6" or more. FYI-people have experienced...- MAXLLY

Simon, Looks good, you are movin fast and furious!!:D I envy you didn't have to scrape all the GM waxie underbody goo off...Sounds like the salt, mud and debris took it off for you. I used a gallon of lacquer thinner... couldn't smoke for hours. That stuff is like steroidal gopher...- MAXLLY

Larry, I haven't heard of many breaking on our trucks, I can say if you wanna find tough u-joints talk to or look into the rock crawler sites/mags. Those maniacs HAMMER u-joints with big tires, low pressures, bad angles, killer torque and finally super aggressive gear ratios. Not that...- MAXLLY

IMO, i think alot of parts breakage has to do with how you launch and if you stay hooked up or not. When your making that much HP and spots are "greezy" or a guy overpowers the track it's tough not to break stuff. Dryflow Air Intake Cleaner
