alright you got me, now you know i ride the little yellow bus with my helmet securely strapped on.:joker: Sorry, apparently i didn't get the question. I am exiting the bed between the rear wheel and the cab, the hole was cut for 4" at a 45* angle, so its oval, the bend under the frame creates...

she gets exhaust today... we decided to run it out the side of the bed instead of a mini stack. Hope it works ok, little skeered about cutting a hole in the SIDE of the bed.

    Nitrous basics

There you are! Hey Dude. Wondered when yuz gonna get in on this.:) 4 1/2 tenths, had a little fuel in her huh?:D

    Nitrous basics

IF i am getting it... The tune is set for X fuel, as the pressure drops the nitrous decreases, nitrous decreases fuel stays constant (truck/ECM doesn't know you are spraying), we now have excess fuel, excess fuel is EGT's, EGTs help melt pistons. In a gasser we get rich, comparitively speaking...

    Nitrous basics

Isn't this how Pat melted his pistons? .100 jet IIRC. Timing, heat and then nitrous? What you are desribing sounds like a recipe for that. How long this been working for you? Respectfully. Wade has a stack of trophies on his mantle running nitrous, ass or not. Hell our beloved McRat is...

    Nitrous basics

we have to go backwards before we can go forwards with N2O. Reduce timing, account for charger overspeed, whatever you pick. We have to reduce. Then move forward. In other words if you getting 35* s in her and wait until shes getting hot... yea ur gonna break stuff. But whos fault is that...

    Nitrous basics

great product,Thanks Wade. Appears to keep bottle pressure very consistant i agree it removes variables. that guy Koeler... when it comes to top shelf nitrous he seems to be everywhere.

Here is a link to the video i posted a couple days ago, what exactly are you looking for? I can be more specific if you can. What is it you wanna do? Scroll back some and you can see the IC behind the radiator, thank Mick for that one. The intake goodies are on the inside, it looks like...

    Nitrous basics

Hope this stays tech for ya Wade. :poop: What do you believe is the biggest mistake newcomers make when moving to N2O and diesel? Lack of backpressure monitoring? Lack of reduction in timing? To much duration coupled with nitrous and low timing? James

try this... it ain't much but you get the idea, she sits fairly low. The camera phone makes it look like a fish bowl! Nothin like Micks or 1 lowdiesels! I needed some space for a reaction, some movement.

I have one on my cell, but it looks kinda lousy. I'll try and load it up. If not it'll be a couple days. I think it looks great, look at the distance between the floor and the front in the video. It has 1.5" of rake from front to back. it sits moreso like a 1/2 ton now, 3" above the wheel...

    GT42Mag

Can't speak to longevity of the forged pistons, IIRC Guy hammered the snot outta his and they never broke. They make a little noise when cold and need some time to heat up, the forged pistons from Mahle are not as loose as others they are a compromise in forged terms.

    exhaust opinions

I second the exit location issue. Nothing worse than going out to dinner with the tramp next door... wife for some and the breeze blows her skirt onto the side of your truck and it leaves a big black stain... pisses 'em off. Plus its a mess to work around soot. Most of the fast trucks run...

N2O nozzle pre or post IC?

Good luck Blue. If you have the thing apart drill holes pre and post IC and you can move the jet around whereever you want. Moving the nozzle is cake, creating the hole is time consuming if you don;t need it/want it just put a plug in it. Distance also plays a part in how hard the N2O "hits"...

    Fass fittings

Larry, Go see the Parker Boys. I have the same pump and I 180* back to the frame rail. You want a male NPT to male JIC adapter then into a swivel JIC 180* push lock. Take ur stuff off and go look in the bins at Parker, You will get all excited. A few 90's ain't gonna slow ur truck down...
