    Sonds like a typical ats converter gone bad. Pull pan and peel open filter and see what's inside. Maybe a bad F trim solenoid, but I doubt it.

    1711 is trans temp sensor. That's housed in the PSM. Could be internal wire harness, disconnected wire from harness to PSM or bad PSM.

    We installed the new valve body kit that Ratio-tek and I worked on. So far so good. James will report on it after break in.

    Resetting taps will work for about 5 miles and resort back to shit shifts. All it does is diverge the shifts back to base.

    '16 was the first year for 8sp behind 6.2. '15 had the 6L80 behind the 6.2. More preferable. All 5.3 had 6L80. I assume you will get a 6.2 after driving mine.

    708 is a internal mode switch. very rare for them to go out. 722 code is speed sensor code. No way to check TCM except to put a known good one on and see if problem goes away.

    The carbonites will barely last 6 months under big power. They shed so bad that they will plug the filter and take out the rest of the clutches.

    They do not feel at all like the G3. Their lining is hard as a rock and the pattern will trap fluid which is a no no. That lining was meant for slow moving trucks. No good for the shock apply we do under high TQ.
