    It's aluminum and it's probably going to get painted a flat charcoal gray. Leaving it unfinished would be cool but you would constantly have to keep re-brushing it with scotch-brite or steel wool to keep it looking fresh.

    Just finished the chassis last week. Need to work in steering and build motor plates before I paint the chassis section under the cab and install it for the final time. Cage should start soon and hopefully be almost done by Xmas. Finally being done with big parts of the builds feels good...

    How does it rev? Does it want to pull the top end? Stock timing? I would start with what Madmatt said. I'm thinking either timing slipped or an injector issue. Can't really tell in the video but a stuck plunger would sound worse and wouldn't really get any better with RPM. Does it idle okay?

    Lower compression tends to want to smoke while cold. I wouldn't be that worried about it if it's done it since day 1 and the injectors have checked out fine. Just my $.02
