Which AR? I love Ruger and the mini is great but I have put a lot of rounds through my issue AR and a few commercial models.

I agree. So far the net has not offered prices that compete with NAPA but the search will continue.

If you guys are concerned about prices, PM me. I can quote you dealer prices on most brands. I'm not trying to sell anything. I do this for most people I know. BTW wholesale on a mini-14, 20 round, is just under what he is asking. If it's a 5 round model, he's high. IMO I would leave...

Thanks!! I will have to check NAPA. That is as close to a regular hydraulic shop we have. That is still a 45 minute drive from here.

    Allison cooling lines

Thanks! I wanted to make sure before I did something stupid with a new Alli.

    Allison cooling lines

That is a nice buggy!! My compliments. What fittings did you use to go into the Alli? I see 90* brass but I haven't pulled the fittings out of mine yet. I should be able to do something like that. It looks like I may have found something to adapt those fittings to the radiator as...

    Allison cooling lines

Thanks. So far that has been the best prices. Gates 5/8" ID 1500PSI is still high but factory lines are ridiculous. Is it possible and/or safe to run to a large cooler and skip the radiator?

    Allison cooling lines

Thanks Mike. Any ideas on sourcing the parts I need? So far the large diameter hydraulic hose is $7+/foot and near $29/fitting.

    Allison cooling lines

I was considering that. I think by the time I source factory lines (I don't have a set of factory lines) and do the earl's or aero extensions it would cost even more than the hydraulic lines I'm looking at now. This is the last part of the build to source and the big parts put one heluva hurt...

    Allison cooling lines

I think our factory lines are 5/8" and have not found a great deal on line that size. I'm looking at hydraulic hose right now but connectors to the trans, rad and cooler are killing me. I tried to get a set of Kodiak/Top Kick lines but nobody seemed like they wanted to go measure them. I...

    Allison cooling lines

I'm putting an Allison behind my Cummins ISB. I'm still working out details with the Destroked kit but I have a 271 case and picked up the input to make it work. PI hooked me up with a torque converter. I'm down to keeping the Allison cool. I have a cooler from an LLY. Now I need to...

    Glow Shift Gauges

Yep, that works too. The Z-series lights are fairly dim since they are not LED. I didn't even run the dimmer on mine.

    Glow Shift Gauges

There is an Autometer dimmer for $30 and it works with the AM LED gauges. I just put a set of the UL-2s in a truck and used the dimmer. There is no rail pressure gauge in the Cobalt line.

    Glow Shift Gauges

Three is the most I have seen. Two looks much better. The best looking and easiest to use seems to be two-gauge pillar and two over the mirror; either in the cubby or under it. Best gauges? This debate could really get good. I like Autometer.
